WOW! BAM! POW!

That's an awesome ad! I want to see MORE of this! I will gladly donate even more money if they show more ads like this one!!

I've given up my daily mocha frappuccinos and instead donating the money saved to no on 8!

California - Vote "NO" on Prop. 8!
Arizona - Vote "NO" on Prop. 102! AGAIN!
Florida - Vote "NO" on Amendment 2!
Connecticut - Vote "NO" on Question 1!

While I think a "no" on 8 is a no-brainer, this will change no one's mind. Those who champion 8 are simply irrational. They don't understand the concepts of "fairness" or "equality".

It's the equivalent of "You can have freedom of religion, so long as you worship in MY church."

I thought that, in terms of "swing voters" for this issue, Ellen's recent ad was simple but personal and powerful. These run-of-the mill negative ads, while necessary to help our cause, won't really change people's minds an awful lot. Though every effort counts!

Its hard to see Yes on 8 yard signs, especially across the street from my children's school. Honestly, standing there with all of the other parents and a sign that says "protect marriage" when I am married to my wife made me feel like a second class citizen. Protect it from what? How does my marriage harm theirs????? It's easy to say youre against seperate but equal treatment, but when you actually FEEL it, that you are not being treated equal when its the LAW, the ad above is a welcome perspective in the fight against Prop 8.
